Born in a city where it always stormed, Blake was abandoned by his parents at a young age and left to fend for himself. He got involved in numerous gang affiliations and developed a keen interest in electricity and technology, leading to the discovery of his aptitude in those regards. At age 10 he was inducted into the Spartan III Program, and following his augmentation, served exceptionally, before being "acquired" by ONI as one of their assets, where he ran numerous infiltration and HVT takedowns almost entirely by himself. He was off-planet when Reach fell, and all he could do was watch as it burned. Now, he continues to serve as a tech expert and infiltrations specialist, in addition to being a seasoned hacker and EOD tech.
